Today we’d like to give a fellowship shoutout to Brandon Banarsi from Stony Brook University and our CSTEP-SBU StudyFind Fellow. Bio Below Q: Where did you grow up? Why did you choose your major? General interest? An interesting fact about yourself? A: “I grew up in Jamaica, Queens, New York. I had exposure to breaker boxes and industrial-sized electrical equipment as a child. I was incurably curious about why and how the systems worked the way they did and so I am pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Satisfying my elementary passion for math, I decided to double major in AMS (Applied Math and Statistics) as well.” - Brandon Q: What are your general interests? What’s an interesting fact about yourself? A: “General interests include mixing music, playing basketball, and customizing cars. An interesting fact would be that I spend my free time doing mechanical automotive work.” - Brandon Q: What aspect of this StudyFind would you want to work on? A: “I would like to work on the front-end development while still being exposed to the back-end algorithms that make the application work.” - Brandon Q: What type of work do you like to do post-graduation? A: “I would like to work with the Research and Development of artificial intelligence and microelectronics in automobiles.” - Brandon
