Today we’d like to give a shoutout to Ivan Yau, majoring in Mathematics of Computation at UCLA, and one of our Junior Software Developer interns.
Bio Below:
Q: Where did you grow up? Why did you choose your major? General interest? An interesting fact about yourself?
A: “I was born in Los Angeles, but raised in the Bay Area! Living in the Bay, I was surrounded by tech for most of my life and I grew a love for it over the years. I’ve grown a hobby towards computer building, and that’s a main reason I chose my major. I love to play volleyball, make music, and fix computers in my free time! Currently I’m working on the researcher backend/frontend and looking to focus more on backend work later in the internship!” - Ivan
Q: What type of work do you like to do post-graduation?
A: “Post Graduation I would love to stay in the Bay Area and work as a Software Engineer or Product Manager at a Tech Company near San Francisco or San Jose!” - Ivan
