Though Palm Slinks look very much like new slinklettes (pictured below)…

…here’s a quick sketch of an actual brandy-new slinklette! They’re little nubs with stubby leggies and dainty hand-feet. They usually hatch out of their eggs beeping and flickering and kicking with their springy back legs. Generally, they’ve already opened their eyes a day or two after hatching. It won’t be long before they start trying to play! Make sure to keep them toasty and safe!

Depends on what level of gardening you’re talking about!

Slinks have difficulty remembering sequences more than… Let’s say two or three steps in length. I’m sure that if you were facilitating it, the slink could, for example, be taught to dig little holes, pop seeds in, and then cover them up again. Similarly you could teach them to pull up plants that look a specific way, so long as explaining how that plant actually looked was straight-forward and didn’t take much vocab (“slink pull out prickly short brown plant” is something they’d understand. “slink pull out brown plant with long leaves, short stem, and flowers with five petals” would be forgotten and leave them sad and frustrated).

Hey there @failedfetus! Totally depends on what size you’re getting, whether it’s shaded or not, etc. I’ll give you some examples and prices I’d accept for those.

If you want a slink drawing around the same size, style, and quality as one of these, I’d charge around $15 per slink. They’re somewhere between 300px x 300px and 500px x 500px if I measure things out.

Super large slink refs (in the range of 900px x 900px) similar to this one would be charged totally according to my usual commission prices. You’re looking at... $35-$45, with the higher end applying to slinks with complex color patterns or very specific features. It’d be $30-$40 without shading for the same thing, respectively.

A good option for purebred slinks, especially if you’re tight on cash or want something that matches up with your icon well, is the official HD breed art slink YCHs! These are a wee $10. Also, don’t worry. The knucker breed is available here too, but I don’t have it posted on the listing yet. x-x

If none of these sound appealing, I’m also open to applying my Doodle Page+ price ($30) to a page of three or four loosely sketched, colored, and shaded (or just colored if you’d rather) slink pictures. Might be a nice “bulk option” if you just want SOMETHING pretty of your slink but have a lot you want to get art for at once.

... Reminds me that I still kinda miss rp, though. A little sheepish of not-so-private fantroll rp nowadays due to a lot of questionable events and people making me wary, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to write more again. Used to be a huge part of my life.
