Today’s crystal is Celestite
One of my favorites, Celestite (also sometimes referred to as Celestine) is a very powerful spiritual stone that can enhance our intuitive gifts and connect us to our angels and spirit guides. This mineral consists of strontium sulphate—strontium is an element commonly used in fireworks and various metal alloys. It is a form of Barite, and develops as an accessory mineral of ore veins. It’s usually found in sedimentary rocks, mostly in cavities of sandstone and limestone. Celestite gets its name from its beautiful celestial blue color!
This crystal is highly sought after and a favorite of many because of its metaphysical and healing properties. It enhances psychic gifts, specifically claircognizance and intuition. Keeping Celestite in places that require peace and calmness is especially beneficial because of it’s connections to higher beings. It promotes protection from your guides as well as tranquility and spiritual clarity.
Celestite is the perfect meditation/manifestation crystal, but it’s also great for use in shadow work and ritual work. Keep a cluster on your nightstand or in whatever room you use to connect with the universe.
Today’s crystal is
Red Hematite Quartz
Also referred to as “Hematoid Quartz” or even just “Red Quartz,” Red Hematite Quartz is a variety of Quartz with a Hematite coating. It can be seen crystallized in masses, nodules, clusters, druzy, as well as inclusions within existing Quartz. The color of crystallized Hematite is predominantly red, but can also be seen as dark as maroon, burgundy and brown. This is an extremely rare stone to come by, and you can tell whether a piece is genuine by how dense the stone feels along with other factors like where it was sourced.
Red Hematite Quartz possesses an EXTREMELY powerful energy, and it is not a stone for beginners. Some often liken it to Moldavite because of its “in your face” vibrational energy and the power it holds to completely transform your life through expansion of the higher consciousness. This is an excellent stone for manifestation, but be sure you are ready for the changes you seek before working with it.
This is also an exceptional protective stone. It helps offer our auras a shield against negativity in all forms. Hematite itself is a great stone for grounding, so the energies of that become amplified in conjunction with Quartz, making it easy for you to reconnect with the earth after any energy work performed for expansion.
Today’s crystal is
Blue Kyanite
Blue Kyanite is one of the most versatile and powerful spiritual crystals with which to work. It has the power to align all chakras and subtle bodies instantly and dispels blockages, moving balanced energy gently through the physical body. It is linked to the throat chakra, enhancing communication of all forms, including spiritual communication through heightened intuition. This, along with its calming properties, helps us to communicate with the universe and our guides during meditation and manifestation.
Kyanite is an extremely high vibrational stone that inspires strong connections, loyalty, and compassionate relationships of all types. It can also be used for recalling dreams where the universe may be sending us messages to guide us or help us heal. It encourages logical thinking and promotes separating attachment to emotional outcome, making it perfect for those suffering with anxiety.
I recently learned that there is a stone/crystal called mystical merlinite, and it’s a magic rock. Which according to google:
So I did the logical thing and replaced the staff of Avalon’s giant emerald with Mystical Merlinite. One is just the staff and stone, and the second just shows how it would glow.

My roommate’s grandpop was a rock hunter. We don’t know what kind this one is but we both really love it.
Amethyst, malachite, snail shells, and wasps’ nests.
Malachite, keys, snail shells, and quartz, for abundance.
