Decentralized marketplace CryptoBridge announced the closure. The exchange stops accepting deposits on December 3 and will stop working on December 15.

Information about the closure of the site appeared on the official website of the exchange. CryptoBridge is fully licensed and operates in accordance with European Union law. To withdraw crypto assets, users will need to provide KYC data.

The exchange will work on its servers until December 15, and after that it will be impossible to withdraw funds. Several factors led to the closure of the site, as explained by the exchange team. In a statement the platform said:

"We have done a great job and done everything in our power to prevent this from happening, but market conditions, increased regulation, the inability to Fund further development and support operations have forced us to make a difficult decision."

At the same time the project team told about the plans to restart the exchange in the near future in his Twitter:

"We understand that our users are confused. We're closing temporarily. We will open a new and improved exchange, as mentioned earlier! And on the new exchange, KYC data will need to be provided only for withdrawal of funds over 2 BTC."
