Like seriously, is Gaylen Akiridion?? Can't be, he's from Earth, he just *created* Akiridion-5, so what *is* he, really? Was he good at one point? Was he neutral? Why'd he get greedy and try to destroy the planet *he* created?? Is his core gone forever now??
I know a lot of people think that if Bellroc and Skrael wore modern clothes Bell would dress like a biker and Skrael would dress all fancy and intriquete
But consider that Bellroc canonically wears more layers of clothing than the other members of the order, and has a shitton of jewelry and other accessories- like it's so hard to miss them
Meanwhile Skrael is just wearing a tunic, a cloak, and a caribou skull.
I like to think Bell would be the one to dress all flamboyantly (with shades of red, orange, and yellow) and Skrael would wear simpler, comfortable clothes.

Recently, people have been trying to stir things up again. Calling ships between members of the Arcane Order "incest" or whatever, I'm sure you've seen it around. You might be thinking, "hey, how do they know they're canonically related? It was never officially stated?" They *don't* know. It's widely accepted fanon (for some reason). A while ago, someone linked this article insisting it was "proof" they're related, so I gave it a read.

Notice how it isn't in quotes? It doesn't even say if Matte said this directly, so am I really to trust this? I tried to contact the writer of this article to ask if Matte described them as siblings in the interview but never got a response, so I'm guessing he just pulled that "sibling" shit from the wiki which is fan curated and definitely not notorious for spreading misinformation *cough cough* Zelda *cough cough*. This is what Aaron Waltke had to say when I asked him about it months prior to the article being made:
Why would they say two different things? He said "we," so it's not just a him thing; they chose to leave their relationship undefined, the Order was never *meant* to be traditional siblings like the fandom treats them as, otherwise he would've outright said "yeah they're siblings." Bottom line, he said it's left to interpretation, which to me means "not canon."
And, before someone inevitably misinterprets this because that's just what fandom people do, let me just say that there's nothing wrong with interpreting them as siblings. Go wild, just don't use *your* headcanon, *your* interpretation of these characters to justify harassing shippers and as a means to complain about us publicly (which has happened and is currently happening which drove me to make this post).
