BEHOLD! THE KENTUCKY GOBLIN! - Lexington, Kentucky. A life-size representation of a Kelly-Hopkinsville (Kentucky) “Goblin” seen at the 2019 Cryptid Con event held at Lexington’s Clarion Hotel. This curious “alien creature” shared the stage with “Alien Legacy” author Geraldine Sutton-Stith as she recounted the bizarre and frightening events of August 21st, 1955, at her grandmother’s farm in Kelly, in which the Sutton Family home was reportedly besieged by a group of these “goblin-like” beings following the sighting (and likely landing) of a flying saucer. The famous “Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter” is a classic case in UFO lore that remains unexplained to this day. Former veteran police detective turned author and mystery investigator David Paulides talks Bigfoot case evidence at the 2019 Cryptid Con held in Lexington, Kentucky. A researcher with the North American Bigfoot Search, Paulides is quite knowledgeable in all things Sasquatch. His real expertise, however, is demonstrated through his “Missing 411” investigations into cases and patterns in which people have disappeared under mysterious circumstances in our National and State Parks systems. THE MAN IN THE HAT: LYLE BLACKBURN AT CRYPTID CON - Rock and Roll Cryptid Author Lyle Blackburn fields questions during a panel discussion at the 2017 Cryptid Con in Frankfort, Kentucky. Lyle is a musician, actor, producer, TV personality, researcher, speaker, and author who has penned several cryptid books (most notably being "The Beast of Boggy Creek" - 2012) and numerous articles on Strange Creatures. He has appeared on a number of Monster-Hunting television shows and documentaries, including Destination America's "Monsters and Mysteries in America" and Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot." He Executive Produced and narrated Small Town Monster's documentary feature "The Mothman of Point Pleasant" (2017) as well as Co-Produced/Consulted their "Boggy Creek Monster" (2016) doc. Aside from his TV and film appearances, Blackburn has also been interviewed on dozens of radio shows, including the popular "Coast to Coast AM." A frequent speaker at Paranormal Conferences, Blackburn has appeared or lectured at nearly every major Cryptid Event in the country. Despite his laid-back Texan demeanor and cool rocker persona, Lyle Blackburn is a "Monster Geek" at heart with a commanding knowledge of Cryptid Lore and Legend.
