Missing 411 David Paulides Presents A Very Unusual Case from Pennsylvania

Billy Smolinski Jr - STILL MISSING . William Paul Smolinski Jr vanished from Waterbury, Connecticut, in August 2004. . The Billy Smolinski disappearance has had so many twists and turns Mickey Spillane would have a hard time keeping up with all of it. . The craziness started when family members put up missing Flyers in places where Billy was known to have been. In some of these places, the posters would disappear overnight. Even after having been replaced, someone was taking the posters down. . Family members decided to document the occurrence for law enforcement. It turned out, the ex-girlfriend of Billy and her friend were taking the missing flyers down. . It gets even better. This ex-girlfriend of the missing man sued his family defamation and won over $50,000. This decision would later be overturned and overshadowed. . There have also been false claims made in this case that proved to be costly not only in dollars to officials, but also in time lost in the search to find Billy. . One of the men misdirecting the police was the son of Smolenski's former girlfriend. He died of a drug overdose in 2005. The other, was sentenced to seven years in jail in 2013 for lying to law enforcement. It is believed that both are involved in the death of Billy Smolinski. . Read up on Billy's case. Something inspired by the odd cases of kids going missing in the mountains, then turning up later with... a story. Pretty close to home as I have a similar such story from my own early childhood. When I was three or so I had an odd experience with the mountains and getting lost--and being unable to be found for hours by dozens searching despite being eventually discovered sitting out in the open by a distinctive rock within a 3-minute climb of the house. The art's more of a nighttime version with features taken from a number of other childrens' accounts. Though the second character, they're really more from my own experience. ^u^; I understand probably has a look that to "Western Culture" will be interpreted as evil, but it's not meant to stand for that. Children this young are yet to have been seeded with these ideas and their accounts rarely are fearful (except of the obvious being lost in wilderness). This isn't horror. It's mysterious, it's unknown, but it's not horror just because we're taught to be terrified of everything we can't control. 9x11 inch piece. Graphite, teeny hint of colored pencil.
