Sometimes even though I logically know I cannot understand Croatian you post or reblog something where I can kinda read very few words so I try to read the rest and I need to do a double take because "wait... this isn't from my language family..."

Winged!Tommy during exile and his wings are so neglected that it hurts to extend them. He doesn't preen them, instead tearing out feathers whenever Dream comes around to destroy his items. When he builds the pillar, he is convinced his wings are useless and that he will never fly again. But as he falls, as he realizes Dream has been manipulating him the whole time, he is overcome with the urge to LIVE. His wings fly open despite the pain and the ruined feathers. He doesn't fly, he doesn't soar. But it's enough to slow and control his fall into water rather than earth. When he emerges, wings drenched and heavy with water, he begins to set his remaining feathers straight again.
