It isnât uncommon to find Miss Frye seated among one of Nemoriaâs many chairs and lounges placed around the first floor of her shop, no doubt lured in by the thousands of books that Nemoria has allowed her free access to. The two had a rather tentative relationship at the moment, as Miss Frye was much more reserved than her boisterous twin.Â
Nonetheless, they seem to get along pretty well, and it didnât help that Nemoria found Evie rather...attractive. Not that it was too odd a thought for Nemoria, having had crushes in the past regarding other women. Although it was the first time Nemoria felt a kind of âpullâ to the assassin, something of which many romance novels loved to spout poetry about the pull and push of attraction. Besides, in many aspects one would think Evie Frye came right out of a fantastical novel herself.
Her rather complicated attraction to the other aside, Nemoria was also aware of the assassinâs goal. Taking back control of London from Starrick and the âTemplarsâ as Nemoria had learned they were called. Her services and partnership with Henry Green had sparked an interest in the twin Fryes, and now she saw quite a bit of them these days. Jacob often stopped by to pester her for information or if she had any new imported âgoodsâ to show him, more than likely referring to weapons she had kept in secret. Such a cheeky lad Jacob was...
Then there was Evie, and from her most recent meet up with Henry over some tea, she had found out that Evie was currently on the heel of Lucy Thorne. A particular name that Nemoria had invested a little time and effort into tracking and following a few leads that led her to a specific location that Miss Thorne seemed to frequent.
Nemoria found herself glancing at the piece of paper she had in hand, an address and name scribbled on it. For whatever fathomable reason, Nemoria found her heart racing as she braved through her trepidation, approaching Evie with even, methodical steps before hovering the paper just in front of the assassin.
âMiss Frye, a recent discussion with Henry and my own nightly endeavors have uncovered something I felt you might be interested in. I have discovered the location of Lucy Thorneâs privately owned warehouse that I believe no doubt house a majority of her research and findings. I was...Wondering if you would like to accompany me there. Tonight.âÂ
