A-HA! PERFECT
KOKORO AND MASARA TOGETHER IN AN EVENT IS AN EVENT I WANNA SEE
Also
Given what happened in Cross Connection, I am EXTREMELY amused by this apparent matchup.
The Hand Arisa Held
Effect: Anti-Bind [100%] & Anti-Stun [100%]
TLDR: "The Hand Arisa Held” is extremely good at negating Stun and Bind when they are both to be expected from an enemy battle, and bad at anything else. This memoria is exclusive to the Cross Connection event.Â
Review: "The Hand Arisa Held” combines two Negate effects for some obnoxious Status Ailments: Stun and Bind. Both of these are actually part of the same class of Status Ailment, where said Ailment will prevent your character from taking a turn (as opposed to the potential for missing or the potential for damage).
Bind is a Status Ailment that will cause the affected unit to be unable to take any actions (attack or use active skills) for the number of turns shown, make said target take 80% increased damage from its weak element, and also be unable to heal. You really don’t want this Status Ailment on your characters, so it’s important to prevent it when needed. Stun is a Status Ailment that will cause the affected unit to be unable to take any actions (attack or use active skills) for the number of turns shown, and it will also take 80% more damage from its weak element. It is a weaker version of Bind.
When facing an enemy that has the potential for Stun or Bind, then "The Hand Arisa Held” is extremely good. However... when facing an Enemy with only Stun or Bind, then you’ll be better off equipping something else that only has one of the effects. This is because "The Hand Arisa Held” doesn’t offer any damage benefits besides its passive ATK stats, and even those are low.
So, overall, this memoria is extremely niche in what it can do. But, when you come across a battle with Stun and Bind, then it excels.
Please don’t leave this on your Supports.
The Hand Chisato Grasped
Obtainability: Limited to the Cross Connection event.
Effect: Negate Counter [100%] / Attack Up [30%] (Self for three turns)
I did some touching up on Arisa’s uh… targets. C’mon GAN, she’s 15. Fifteen! I created two versions of each, depending on how innocent you want it to be.Â
If you have any magia record outfit oofs, don’t hesitate to send a request to my ask box!Â

The Sword Which Strikes in the Space Between Light and Dark
Single Effect: Attack Up While At Max Health [20%] & Attack Up [15%]
MLB Effect: Attack Up While At Max Health [25%] & Attack Up [20%]
TLDR: “The Sword Which Strikes in the Space Between Light and Dark” is a sad case of a King falling out of the meta, and it doesn’t really have a niche or role to be used in for the game at the moment. It’s not bad, but it’s not the fantastic memoria it once was. There is an unlimited version of it in the game now too, so there isn’t a need to roll for this one anymore. This memoria is exclusive to the Cross Connection gacha. It is event memoria and should be kept in case of a rerun.
Review: This memoria used to be a must-have for anyone seriously considering Ranked Mirrors-- now it’s a reminder of a forgotten era. A monument to the whims of game designers and their effects on the rise and fall of different metas, if you will.
First, an explanation of its two effects: Attack Up will increase the unit’s base attack stats, making it superior to the effects Damage Up / Increase Damage, as those two effects will effect the actual damage output. Attack Up While at Max Health will stack with Attack Up, and is exactly what it sounds like-- as long as your character is undamaged, they have an extra bonus of Attack Up.
Collectively, this gives “The Sword Which Strikes in the Space Between Light and Dark” (hereafter simply called “Swords”) an incredible 45% Attack Up-- a truly formidable powerhouse of a unit who wields it. Unfortunately, the question nowadays is where do you use Swords?
Ranked Mirrors no longer revolves around two-turn blast teams, but instead drawn out battles of magia and attrition. A memoria such as “Swords” won’t fit in that kind of scenario. Regular Mirrors can use “Swords,” but you don’t particularly need the best memoria in the game for Regular Mirrors-- a copy of “I Made Friends” or whatever you have on you can do well too. “Swords” will make you more powerful yes, but it’s also overkill and not exactly a requirement to bring with you.
“Swords” won’t be as useful for hard PVE content, such as EX-Challenges or the Hundred Calamities Challenges. You should expect your characters to take some hits, and once the character with “Swords” does, it’s just a memoria that gives 20% Attack Up and nothing else. Maybe you can find use for this memoria when farming with Blast Gorillas but... that’s assuming auto doesn’t pick stupid disks and cause your character to take damage anyways. Furthermore, this isn’t exactly a game where you will need expensive memoria to farm old content.
Of course, this isn’t necessarily bad-- it still gives 20% Attack Up (when max awakened) after all, and that can be very helpful if nothing else. Additionally, you can see this memoria in play on PVE teams with the addition of a hefty amount of passive Regenerate HP attached to the character (often seen on Ultimate Madokas).
But in the end, this is a memoria past its prime. Because not only does it no longer have a special niche, but there’s another, new, unlimited memoria in the game that doesn’t require you to throw lots of rolls at Cross Connection.
“The Happiest Moment in Human Life” Attack Up [20%] & Attack Up While At Max Health [25%]
Poor “Swords.” Let this be a lesson to players everywhere-- don’t get complacent. Even the mightiest memoria could be put out to pasture.
The Hand Chisato Held
Single Effect:Â Anti-Counter [100%] & Attack Up [25%] (Self / 3 Turns)
MLB Effect:Â Anti-Counter [100%] & Attack Up [30%] (Self / 3 Turns)
TLDR: "The Hand Chisato Held” is actually great due to its Attack Up percentage and duration. For folks with few Attack Up active memoria, it might be worth using valuable memoria cores to max awaken this. "The Hand Chisato Held” is exclusive to the Cross Connection gacha.Â
Review: “The Hand Chisato Held” is actually really good! This is less due to its Anti-Counter effect, and more due to its Attack Up (for three turns) effect. First, let’s go over its effects:
Anti-Counter will negate the effects of Counter. Counter is a granted effect that will cause the unit, when damaged by an enemy attack, to immediately attack that same enemy. This doesn’t give MP to either the attacker or receiver, does not apply any on-hit effects, and will ignore evade. Counter isn’t the most dangerous of effects, but it can be dangerous to your team, as it allows the enemy to chip away at your health.
Attack Up will increase the unit’s base attack stats, making it superior to the effects Damage Up / Increase Damage, as those two effects will effect the actual damage output.
So, the Anti-Counter can be helpful but the real reason this memoria is great is due to the Attack Up. 30% Attack Up is actually equivalent to a lot of four-star active memoria, such as:
“Formally Deciding“ Attack Up [30%] (Self / 3 Turns) & Status Ailment Resistance Up [50%] (Self / 3 Turns)
“Survival Date on a Deserted Island“ Attack Up [30%] & Anti-Debuff [2 Debuffs] & Defense Up [37.5%] (Self / 3 Turns)
“I Won't Stray From This Path” Attack Up [30%] & Defense Up [37.5%] (Self / 3 Turns)
These memoria have benefits from being four-stars and their secondary effects, but that doesn’t change the fact that “The Hand Chisato Held” is a three-star with a great Attack Up percentage and duration.
There is one memoria that is essentially “The Hand Chisato Held” but better:
“Even if I Take a Wrong Path” Attack Up [35%] & Chance to Anti-Counter [80%] (Self / 3 Turns)
However, the benefit of “The Hand Chisato Held” is that it should be relatively easy to max awaken with how frequent three-star memoria cores drop at about once per event.
Now, to go back to Anti-Counter-- again, Counter isn’t really an issue for many fights, however, there are situations where it can be a pain, and the value of this memoria will be that you can negate the Counter while still upping your Attack damage. It being on an active memoria as opposed to a passive one means that you cannot negate Counter all of the time, but also that you free up your passive slots for better passive memoria and can focus on when you use your attacks. Naturally, if in a fight with Counter, you want to save this memoria when you can reliably get off a puella combo with the character carrying it
Whether it’s worth it to you or not to max awaken with valuable memoria cores depends on how many good Attack Up active memoria you have-- for Free-to-Play players who threw a roll or two at the Cross Connection banner and snagged this memoria, it could very well be worth it.
