If you'd rather not fry your wedges, try these baked spicy potato wedges instead. They have a crispy outside and a spicy kick from the spices.
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes, washed and cut into wedges. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt to taste. Freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set the oven to 425F 220C and heat it up. Toss the potato wedges with olive oil in a large bowl until they are well covered. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to a small bowl and mix them together. Add the spice mix to the potato wedges and toss them around so that they are all covered. Place the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper so that they do not touch. After the oven is hot, bake the food for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping it over halfway through, until it is golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with the sauce of your choice.
