With melted cheddar cheese, crisp apple slices, tangy mustard, and fresh red onions on a toasted bun, this burger recipe will make your mouth water.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 burger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. 1 apple, thinly sliced. 2 tbsp yellow mustard. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the burger patties on the grill or in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover to melt the cheese. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. To assemble the burgers, spread mustard on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf and tomato slice on top of the mustard. Add a cooked burger patty with melted cheddar on top of the lettuce and tomato. Top the burger with apple slices and red onion slices. Finish assembling the burger by placing the top half of the bun on top of the ingredients. Serve your delicious Apple Cheddar Mustard Burgers immediately, and enjoy!
