So, after basically almost a year of my gf telling me to get into Blue Lock I finally did and now I have a new hyperfixation-

Gay football jail is genuinely amazing

So tomorrow (more like in 10 hours but whatevs) I’m gonna defend my fucking thesis! 

But like it’s not an actual thesis, it’s just a year long personal project that can be scientific or whatever but that’s beside the point

I WROTE A BOOK.

So like a few of you know, I like writing fanfiction, but I couldn’t do that for school obvs, so I wrote a fictional story that’s like a thriller about murders and stuff and Mental Illness!

And I’ve worked really hard on it, and it was very hard to do (especially since it’s so different from writing fanfic on people everybody already knows) and like creating my own characters and stuff.

I'm not okay after all that. I don't think I'll ever recover. It's alien stage all over again.

I have a crack theory that avid's sudden eagerness to kill humans was not at all out of pocket. As stated vampirism brings out the suppressed parts of you and Avid definitely had a lot and I mean a lot of frustration with the town. Mainly born from nobody listening to him when he was right, and them then constantly scolding his attempts to keep them safe further. I agree that he was going too far in many ways but usually he wasn't met with any sort of understanding from them from his point of view.

I think how he treats legs is the best example of this. The angry moments that he somewhat forgave or tried to move past suddenly took priority and that resentment showed itself in its true horror.

His sudden desperation to prove himself and his loyalty is due to how he's been constantly questioned and his need to stay with the few friends he has as well. He's 100% certain that the town would never accept him back again. The interesting part is that it isn't really the townspeople that drag him out but HIMSELF and the vampirism and his weird feelings for Scott. It's the fact that Drift and Shelby are there that make his choice in the end. Avid then continues to go off the deep end only to then decide to go full in to the vampire bit because, in his mind, he has nothing else. This breaks my heart.
