i headcanon that a lot of Jigens perceived (and material) hatred toward Fujiko is bc he doesn’t fall for or care about the cutesy and seductive veneers she puts on to get what she wants from people. Lupin understands a large part of Fujiko is just how he perceives her and not who she really is, but lupins relationship with Fujiko differs from Jigens relationship w her bc lupikos dynamic is strengthened by their ambiguity and lies, it’s about a chase more than an actual relationship

Jigen however despises the act both because he doesn’t find it cute and because of lupins insistence on playing into what they all know isn’t real. bc of this, i think out of all of lupin squad Fujiko is most vulnerable w Jigen, no matter what she does he’s not gonna like her any more so why lie, i imagine they spend a lot of quiet nights drinking and talking about things they have never and will never share with anyone else, just to act like nothing happened in the morning
