The most annoying part about BookTok is that you can't thoughtlessly dismiss every book on there. Some of them actually are bangers.

All solo shots for Circe are done! Here are some when her head is turned the same angle. 😆
She also kind of looks like a different woman in each drawing... I think it's the eyes...
Also, my Circe would definitely still stab Odysseus....
I like the idea of Pan and Circe just vibing on her island, he's making wine, she's making potions, he's getting bullied by his brothers, she beats them up, she sad about her dad, so he kicks him in the dick just couple goals
Laughing my ass off at this "oh goodie!!" lookin ass drawing i just made of one of odysseus's crewmen (lets just say it's elpenor) for an animatic
So basically...the Circe Saga is

If Circe is so powerful why didn’t she stop the soldiers from taking one of her Nymphs before Odysseus and his men arrived? Or at least pray to her father to intervene.
Well, I'm not an expert, and it has been a while since I read the Odyssey. I do know that Circe's motivation in the musical is unique, wanting to protect her nymphs. All we know is that they had "guests" before and they faced a heavy loss. So, my interpretation is that they lost one of the nymphs.
When it comes to Circe not being able to protect the fourth nymph, it's the same reason why I didn't have Circe in the flashback in my animatic. If she was there and saw everything, then she would attack the guests. I would take it as Circe not being there when it happened, and when she arrived, they were already gone.
And when it came to Circe didn't ask for help to her father... well... it's the same world where Demeter had to starve the whole world just so she could see her daughter again. Zeus ignored her until she did something extreme. And Circe isn't that powerful, that she could starve a world...
I would say it could be the same with Helios. Like his attitude would probably be: "It's just nymphs, there are plenty of them."
Though this is pretty much my headcanon. Nothing set in stone!
