SPACE SPECKS is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi audio drama about the second end of the world, following a cast of entirely aro- and ace-spec characters. Created by @smallsies and @quillsandpaper , we are currently looking for a lead writer to join our team!

This show began during the 2024 @podcast-bookclub PodJam, but as we both are caught up with running PBC, it needs some new life to actually happen. This project is unpaid, and applications will close 7th October at 11:59PM GMT. Contact [email protected] with any questions.

here’s a summary of the pod:

DEADWOOD is a horror anthology podcast centered around an eldritch god along with several other stories featuring immortal entities and ghosts, both literal and metaphorical. Some stories are more standalone than others, but all focus on themes of grief, betrayal, familial love, hope, identity, survival, queerness, mental illness, and what it means to be different when the world dies around you.

In season 1, an eldritch god’s origins and how it came to wreak havoc on the inhabitants of Earth are told in reverse, split into three main horror subgenres (cosmic, gothic, and folk) and set in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts at different moments in time.

Sonic Alter: The Animated Fan Project is looking for a bigger crew of Sonic artists in the coming year to help bring the project to life!

To elaborate further: We're a fan series of many different inspirations, some of which I'm sure you all are familiar with. If you're a Sonic fan with a love of telling stories through art then this project is for YOU!

Storyboards, much like the screenplay are the ESSENTIAL backbone of a sequence!! We need storyboarders that can NOT ONLY nail down the fun and expressiveness of character dynamics but can also provide the punch that any scene would need as well as dynamic action set pieces!

Enivronments: Sonic's world is unique in nature and very abstract! We'll be exploring expanding upon these certain aesthetics and what not in this show, the only limit for how creative we can make Sonic's world look is the sky!!!

Character Designs: The characters are vast and varied, from Mobians to Stylized Humans, and even Badniks! We'll need to design them all if we hop to populate our word in a meaningful manner!

Illustrators: we're looking for 2D artists who have dynamic styles, a strong anime influence, and/or can draw some aesthetically pleasing Backgrounds!

We understand how much of an incredibly tall order this is and especially for an Unpaid Passion Project such as this one but we genuinely hope you'll join us on our journey to see this project through!!

URGENT: As some of my followers may know I have been working on the pilot to an animated series for over a year now due to undisclosed time stalls. Today, my artist, due to more undisclosed reasons, has dropped out of the project.

I am seeking a group to pickup where she left off. We had started the shots list, character designs had been completed, and we had some rough world designs done as well. The pilot would be more of a polished animatic than a full fledged animation, due to limited crew (unless we could a full team) so animation skills are not necessary though would be a bonus.

Synopsis: When a history defying empress is kidnapped by a secret society of followers dedicated to the God of Madness, it's up to a demigod girl and her new friends to save the day and restore a nation's hope.
