If you want to feed a lot of hungry people at a game day or other casual get-together, these Big Game Taco Calzones are a tasty twist on regular tacos. They have season ground beef, gooey cheese, and traditional taco toppings inside a flaky crescent dough shell. It's simple to make and even simpler to eat!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 package taco seasoning mix. 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent dinner rolls. 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend. 1/2 cup chopped tomato. 1/4 cup chopped green onions. 1/4 cup sliced black olives.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water according to package directions. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. Place rectangles on an ungreased baking sheet. Spoon beef mixture onto half of each rectangle, leaving a border around edges. Sprinkle each with cheese, tomato, green onions, and olives. Fold dough over filling; press edges with a fork to seal. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot and enjoy!
