I fear Bee has absolutely dragged me into an AU where Eden's one of those creepy horror minecraft entities so here's Eden!!!
Okay not as horror as one would think but listen!!! The premise of this AU sort of revolves around Eden starting out small. I imagine his entity story being similar to Princess bubblegum where he seperated from a mother hive and started exploring the open world. Which didn't end too well.
Maybe it was a proud hunter, or simply Eden was too unlucky and fell into a trap. But either way, Eden was obviously going to die. And that's where MC comes in!! I like to imagine this is the part where someone well, saves the poor little critter and nurses it back to health.
When I talked to Bee and Dreamy, they originally gave their pitches to have Eden as a cat or a parrot, since I told them Eden likely starts out as a small critter. But I decided to design him like this. Why? To still have that sense of the small critter being 'off'.. because its not reminiscent of any animal the player would know off. But in the world of minecraft, weird animals like the Sniffer or Wisps exist so what would make this small thing any different?
Its purposeful for anyone who has an MC thats a bit too gullible or overlooks things easily. I'll still have to think on what to name this AU.. simply calling it the minecraft world entity AU is silly. Could be something corny like "World Save: Null" HAHA Ill be open to suggestions.

Just know despite how he looks here, entity Eden is freaking,, gross!!! Like if you held him he's really slippery and slimy. Thus the shine. I giggle a bit because drawing him I got reminded of Pipi so its full circle I suppose!! And while this is a drawing for Entity Eden, this isn't meant to be concrete reference to how Eden ACTUALLY looks like beneath the shell in the OG
I made a lot of doodles so this will likely be a chain of Eden posting for the next few days </3 Im a bit relieved actually since that means i've content that I can chuck out to be scheduled while I wrangle with my 70 plus asks and 39 drafts.
Bee offered up Wheylan to naturally be one of the firsts to nurse critter Eden back to health, admittedly as well a lot of the AU will at first start off full of ChainedShadow content since unfortunately, due to Eden's nature here, he isn't going to like Dukemir anytime soon which is ironic </3
This also makes me curious for how Eden works with other characters, because I can NOT help but giggle at the thought of Eva stumbling upon this poor ass creature </3 Compared to Wheylan and critter Eden, I can tolerate it since Wheylan wouldn't at all question what it is but EVA? I'd feel she'd have the clarity to know that things not normal </3 And the image of her keeping it in her dwellings isnt real in my mind WHAAWH
This au makes me so curious as well of how my puppets are like as entities and let me say MEDIC WOULD BE SO HORRIBLE </3 downloading a minecraft medic mod means you are actively aware the hellhole you're putting yourself in.
I think whats so interesting is the difference in upbringing for this Eden, so his thinking and mindset is somewhat the same but different in comparison to Original Puppet Eden. He'd have different morality compared to humans. Still would be in the same vein as puppet Eden to sort of get obssessed and attached, I promise to you whoever is saving him and nursing the critter back to health will find an entity now stuck like glue.
It's a bit of a spoiler but I like to imagine when Critter Eden's nursed back to health, after staying in your care for awhile, dissapears. Maybe you come back to your house to find the critter you cared for missing and a window open. You kick yourself over it, feeling guilt for letting it back into the wild, worrying it could get hurt. But maybe its for the better. But it doesnt stop the worry.
Cue a week later, and someone knocks on your door, and an injured man asks for housing.
THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A WIP!!! but I just wanted to share this doodle because EDEN LOOKS SOOOO OFF HERE </3 Its so strange drawing him with his eyes PRESENT and his outfit not being his usual cathedral robe uniform. Im in that inbetween of liking it and feeling deja vu. Because Eden's hair is purposefully meant to fit him and his facial features, its why he looks kinda watered down in his og self because his eyes are covered </3
but here, the bangs sort of,,, compliment his look yknow? Consider this the first parter!! the next doodles will be unleased the following days. Giggling I looked at the critter Eden doodle again and he looks SOO tired </3

I finished my Ice Panda Drake for my dad’s birthday. I made it a larger project than usual (due to it being his 70th), and I’m pretty happy how it turned out and had fun playing with different angles of this beastie and trying to come up with some fun facts about them.
I imagine they are different shades of blue to periwinkle. They are 3-4ft tall at the shoulder, 430-470 lbs, omnivorous (feeding off insects, berries, lichen, bamboo, and moss), and are known for their curious and playful behavior. They have an icy breadth, and thrive in the cold. They enjoy rolling down hills (and their back spines are flexible enough to lay flat against them to avoid breaking off).
The bottom picture are some of my sketches, trying to nail down what these creatures would look like.
