This is a crisis, I’m sick of everything, sick of being skint, sick of being nothing sitting in my room all day, whether sun or rain, everything’s the same, no game, got myself to blame, sunning on a Wednesday

You said I need to feel ashamed, sell your soul and get a job, get a 9 to 5, clean the car on Sundays

Well I am immune to the words that spew from your mouth, don’t care what you all say

I know, I know, I know, I’m all over the place

I know, I know, I know, a family disgrace

I know, I know, I know, I know, I should be leaving it behind

But my dreams shine of broken silver, and they glow from the days of old.

All I have is my broken silver, one day my dreams will be mine to hold

This is a crisis, I’m pulling at the clutch, get me into gear, let me out of here, pressure getting way too low, pounding in the ears, sinking through the years all my fears, all my fall-downs come as a crescendo

Never am I gonna stray

Never will I be knocked down, turned round, told to do it your way

I’d rather die with a smile upon my face than replace my aspirations, don’t care what you all say

This is a crisis, I’m sick of getting cold, sick of feeling old in my head as I stare into the sky all day,  whether sun or rain, nothing stays the same save the constant glare of my broken silver
