Yes I can smile, but it's so easy to fake it. Yes I can act like I'm happy, but inside I'm falling apart. Creating Chaos {Rebekah & Katherine}
Katherine Pierce had been victorious once more and currently, she was still on somewhat of a high from her latest win. Getting her hands on the cure had been simple, watch, listen and wait. And she had, for weeks on end she had remained in the shadows until finally, it had been time to pounce and she had swiped the cure from Silas's cold, crumbled hands and took off into the night. Afterwards, the vampire had ensured the cure was taken far away, hidden in a place where no one but her could find it again. It was her leverage, being inĀ possessionĀ of the one thing everyone wanted for some reason or another made her untouchable for, if she died, the location of the cure died along with her. It was one of her more selfish plans, but her own freedom was worth much more than remaining on the good side of the Mystic Falls residents. Now, however, was a time for celebration. After the weeks of plotting and waiting, the Petrova had emerged from the race for the cure triumphant which, in herĀ opinion, had earned her a break. The female had taken to New York, with nothing other than having fun on her mind. And in the past few days she had spent there, she had done just that. It had been a weekend of blood, alcohol, parties and sex and it had been magnificent.
Tonight was no different. Katherine strode into the bar with her head held high, strutting confidently through the large double doors, the curves of her body hugged by a deep, crimson dress, long legs accentuated by a pair of black heels. Her long, chestnut locks were styled in their usual big,Ā voluminousĀ curls which bounced around her shoulders as she sauntered through the crowds. The vampire was in her element as she breezed through the establishment, ignoring the heads that turned in her direction and heading straight for the bar. The female caught the attention of the bartender as soon as she leaned against the wood of the bar, requesting a large glass of bourbon from the man whom clearly seemed to be distracted by her chest. "Hey." Her tone was sharp as she snapped at the male, grabbing his attention quickly, his eyes finally meeting hers. "For that, you can give me my drinks on the house for the evening." The brunette captured the man in a compelling gaze, her full lips curving to form a satisfied smirk as she watched the human nodĀ obedientlyĀ and move to fetch her drink.
