Facebook has introduced something new. Other than posting normal status updates Facebook allows you to create custom status updates with emoticons. You can illustrate as to what exactly you are upto in an interesting manner. Below given a guide on how to include custom emoticons with smileys in the updates:

                                              1.       Sign into your account.

  2.       Just click on update status field to see all extra features. You can click on smiley icon in order to continue.  

  3.       A list of custom status icons (includes Feeling, Watching, Reading, Listening To, Drinking, and Eating) will pop up on-screen. Choose the one that you want to set as your status.

  4.       If you choose feeling, Facebook has a long list of feelings with exclusive icons. In case you are unable to find what you are looking for then go to the bottom of the list and select ‘Add your own’. Other types of status also have this option at the bottom.

  5.       After you have clicked ‘Add your own…’option, type the status and click on custom status with the smiley icon to set.

You can also change smiley by clicking on it once your status appears on the field.

To publish it to the timeline just Hit Post.
