"Min?" You call out in confusion when you hear your front door open.

You live alone, but your boyfriend Minho spends the night often. The problem is, you weren't expecting him today. You weren't expecting him for a while actually. He's been busy with promotions and starting choreographing Stray Kids' next comeback, you knew he was going to spend more time at the dorm than he would with you simply because the dorm is closer to the company. And he doesn't want to wake you up all hours of the night coming in.

Your heart settles in your chest once Minho comes into your line of sight. You start to sit up from your lying down position on the couch when you see the state of him. His face is bare, you can see the dark circles that normally hide behind his makeup. His face is paler than you're used to, even paler than he is with makeup on. His eyes are dead, almost as if he's a zombie. He drops his things where he stands and sluggishly walks over to you, ripping his face mask off. Your heart aches for him.

Before you can completely sit up, he's crawling on top of you. He situates his torso between your legs. His head falls on your chest, his ear pressed directly above your heart. His arms tightly snake their way around your waist, like you would a teddy bear. You gently place your phone on the floor and bring one hand to his scalp, your other hand on his face.

"Sorry, I should have at least texted you to say I was coming." He mumbles. He must feel your heart settling back to a normal rhythm.

"It's okay, this is as much your home as it is mine." You reassure him softly as you begin to scratch his scalp.

He falls quiet, you're almost certain that the combination of listening to your heartbeat and playing with his hair is lulling him to sleep. You don't mind. It's been a while since you've felt his warm embrace. Since you two have had a moment like this. He's been busy nonstop this year, peaceful moments like this are so rare. You almost feel selfish for taking advantage of his exhaustion. Almost.

"Did something happen today?" You whisper, as he lets out a sigh. You had a copy of his schedule, but you can't remember what it is he had to get done exactly today. There are so many interviews, photoshoots, and show appearances going on, you can hardly keep track. How he's able to is a miracle.

"Just...tired," He nestles further into your chest if that's even possible. It's almost like he's trying to be absorbed by you.

"Let's go to bed then. You'll be more comfortable and have more space." Your hand that's on his moves to tap his nose to get his attention.

"I'm comfortable right here," He slightly pouts, face scrunching up as you touch his nose.

"Yeah, but you could be so much more comfortable in some looser clothes and in that big, warm bed."

"Shh," He lifts his head to look at you. He cracks one eye open to a squint like he's looking at the sun. "I'm recharging."

"What are you? A phone?" You laugh? He must be tired if he's talking like this.

"Mhm, and you're my charger." You mumbles as he drops his head back on your chest, quickly falling asleep.
