How did it become Leo’s thing to deal with speedsters?? They weren’t even native to Wonderland! The damn bats and birds were!! He could handle them! Still, Impulse was related to the Kid Flash that had been visiting him occasionally, so he was going to treat this other kid as nicely as he could manage. 

“Maybe don’t run into a trap next time, ok?” He finished wrapped up the kid’s ankle, making sure it was stiff enough to make moving a lot harder. “Nothing’s broken, at least. You just tore some muscles after getting that rope around your legs and loosing your footing.”

At least Hatter was out for the moment. Sneaking around made him anxious, but he didn’t quite want to tell his boss and dad figure that he was meeting a costumed hero during some of his free time.

“You’ll hafta stay here for a  bit while it heals. You guys heal fast right? Cause you’re a bit more than human? Do I have that right? I’ve never seen the Jabberwock heal as fast as Sonic.” Ever since Wally had said he didn’t like that nickname, Leo made a point to use it.

Thad grabs Bart by the shoulders and shakes him once with a wild look in eye. He swears Bart’s doing this to annoy him. He swears he cannot be cloned from, that he can’t share a majority of the same DNA with someone who thinks this specific song has anything to do with ‘crabs’.

“Look-- kid.”

Why is she doing this? Artemis had no fucking clue. All she knew was that the injustice society had no problems killing kids, and that for some reason, she didn’t want this one to get caught in the cross-fire.

When Bart first showed up from the future, he had to admit, he did resent the young speedster. Here Wally was, struggling every day, in every way to keep up with Barry. Both physically and morally. Wally was always too slow, too angry, too eager.... So many things that weren’t quite right for living life as Flash. 

 And here this little guy came, claiming to simply be born with everything Wally wanted. How was that fair? He wasn’t proud, but he had been cruel at first...

But time went on and Wally shoved his biases aside and gotten to know the little bugger. Sure, Bart annoyed him. (honestly, who wouldn’t be annoyed from time to time.) But... Well, Bart was like the brother he never had. Bart could be a little much sometimes, but he was fun and unwaveringly steadfast. Wally wouldn’t trade him for the world.

Wally pulled the younger speedster in for a hug, ruffling his messy head of hair as well. “You’re my family too.”

Thad had been staying with Max’s family for a few weeks, which had been nice all for the awkwardness between Thad and Max’s other trainee, Bart the the person that only a while ago Thad had kidnapped and replaced and whom he had been raised to hate. So yeah that made the dinner table a bit weird.

Max had asked Thad to try to at least try to get along with Bart since they were living together and it might be a good first step in taking control of his life instead of letting the Thawne family decide for him.

Thad stood in front of Bart’s bedroom door, he wasn’t really sure what he was going to say, he just knew he needed to get it so he and Bart could get along, mainly so Max wouldn’t brother him about it. So Thad knocked on the door.

    “Bart!”

She zips forward, slamming into her cousin and tackling him to the ground.
