Crantock beach and the Gannel Estuary at low tide

Beaches are one of my favourite places to go. They make me feel relaxed and they give me some inspiration for my writing, especially if one of the scenes that I’m writing about is taking place on the beach.

Crantock Beach!! A great beach to visit, I think this place is a hidden gem but I maybe wrong. It was ever so quiet when we went, its a huge beach with good car parking facilities. It has an inlet which flows right up into the village, the waters are crystal clear but be careful as it creates really strong currents when the tide is going in and out.
