Did I redecorate Nova's viv? Yes. Is it extra as heck? Maybe. Do I care? Nope. Its just nicer than the plain, dark black back of her vivarium. It adds colour and light to the viv. Its cotton, and velcro'd in place along the top and bottom and through the middle so its easily removed and can be washed. I've also removed her vinyl tiles and replaced them with pink shelf liners because the liners have more grip. Obviously, she still has all her rocks and trees. And eventually, I'd like to add another layer, like a mezzanine or something. He apparently REALLY likes bok choy. I've been giving him small leaves the past couple days and decided to try a bigger one. As you can see from the size of the stem, he ate a good chunk of a large leaf and I am dead curious if he will end up finishing the rest (maybe sans stem) later. I'm starting to think the reason he's so hit and miss with his greens is more due to degree freshness than any actual distaste because he usually is enthusiastic the first few days of a new veggie and peters out after a week or so. And normally he refuses greens that have been sitting a while, but I kept this bok choy leaf's stem in a small bowl of water and that seems to have mad a difference (photo taken after the second feeding). He also appears to be a bit of a lazy boy lately with food sometimes because I just realized he legit wants me to put the food in his mouth sometimes. 🤣 He even did that with a roach a minute ago where he had his mouth slightly open and stared until I picked it up and put it against his lip ajsjahsbha.
