Introduction (finally!)
I know I’ve been cross-posting from Instagram for some time, but I figured it was time to properly introduce myself.
My name is Katherine, and I am a jack of all trades--in my day job, in my craft business, in my private life, and in my random set of skills I use for all of them. I currently work as an administrative assistant in a local university library, and I run Kitty Kat Arts & Crafts outside of that. While particular styles and forms have ebbed and flowed over time, I have been creatively inclined my entire life. Name any creative pursuit, and I’ve either tried it already or desperately want to in the future.
I have found that such creative endeavors help me to more effectively recognize and respond to my own mental health concerns, and I enjoy being able to put my thoughts and energies into something tangible that I can share with others. I do enjoy making cute, decorative things just for the cute factor, but I also am overjoyed when I can make something practical or functional that can make a difference in someone’s life.
