poppets : question !!!
does anyone feel a very strong emotional connection towards the poppets that theyâve made, even if theyâre supposed to represent people who have done you harm/you donât like ??? i feel an intense need to protect and care for the poppets that i make, even when i donât feel the same about the person theyâre symbolising. can anyone shed some light on this? maybe iâm just too emotional? but i canât find it within me to treat my poppets with anything other than care and love, i donât think i could ever use them in curses.
Is there any spells or stones or anything that can help someone thatâs gone to have a peaceful passing and anything to help with grief?
iâm sorry that youâre grieving right now. i can recommend a few crystals that might help to ease your heartache a little.
rose quartz is my favourite, it gently draws in loving, light energy, which can be of comfort to you if youâre in mourning.
amethyst provides protection against negative energy, and can make you feel stronger when youâre emotionally vulnerable.
Lepidolite can give balance, and is good for transitional periods, such as when someone is about to pass/has passed.
those are just some of the crystals that might help you during this difficult time, i recommend these ones bc i have personal experience w owning and using all of them, and theyâre relatively easy to get hold of.
carry them, wear them, or have them close to you when you sleep.
i canât recommend any âspellsâ to you, i donât know anything about your practise, your spirituality or your background etc - so i feel it wouldnât be right. i do have in mind a ceremony that i used just after my grandad sadly passed away, march of this year, but again, i would probably need to know more about you to give you info on something that delicate. i really recommend that you do some personal research, the passing ceremony that i preformed was adapted for me, by me, as your craft should be - about you. the wording of this message kind of suggests to me that you might not be pagan, or Wiccan or witchy(iâm sorry if thatâs not true, i donât wanna offend you) but if youâre not, think hard about why you want to apply pagan beliefs to your grief. it isnât a quick fix - i might be soothed by organising and executing a ritual, but if youâre not spiritually invested, itâs likely that you may not feel the same. spell work is really about harnessing energy and pulling it to reach a desired effect - to feel stronger, calmer etc. would a pagan ritual soothe you, or benefit you, if youâre not pagan? would going to a Christian church soothe you, if you werenât Christian? probably not. instead, maybe think about how you can honour the memeory of your loved one, maybe with things that remind you of them, or in a place that they liked spending time. reflect on them as a person, think of the happy memories you had together, meditate with them in mind. as well as being calming, focused meditation can make you feel more âwith itâ- after shocking news, you might feel disorientated, disengaged. grief is such a horrible, gruelling, personal journey, take time for yourself, but donât forget to spend time around other people too, people that loved your sadly departed one too, people who can uplift you. draw strength from those around you, theyâre hurting too, itâs important that you cradle each other. good luck, iâm so sorry for your loss, iâm just an ask or a message away from anyone in need of advice - witchy, or otherwise â¨

Hey ! I have a witchy type question if thatâs okay? I went to the doctors twice for counselling and he basically said I wasnât bad enough to be referred, but i have so much pain and guilt from leaving my boyfriend and past issues (smoking, lying to my friends, i was a bad adolescent till my early 20âs) Is there any spell or crystals that can help me? Like any that can remove guilt or sadness or anything? Thank you very much ! - Linda J, Manchester, UK
hiya, of course thatâs ok !!in this situation, iâd say that the guilt and sadness that youâre experiencing should probably be worked through with a mental health professional, before it escalates into something more sinister. iâm really glad that youâve reached out for help by visiting the doctors ( the first step towards succeeding , is trying ). thereâs no such thing as not being âbad enoughâ , if you reach out for help , and are struggling , itâs my belief that you should be taken seriously. there are actually a number of adult mental health services that you can refer yourself to in the uk - iâve had experience with self referring to the Depression and Anxiety adult mental health service , they were super friendly , easy to talk to , and tried their hardest to refer me onto a suitable service when it was mutually agreed that my mental health needs were more complex than the Depression and Anxiety service typically deal with. now , onto the witchy part. no spell, ritual, or crystal can cure sadness , remorse , anxiety , or guilt. however , whilst youâre on your mental health journey , you may find it encouraging / helpful / uplifting to incorporate elements of your craft into your healing process. to reiterate : these things canât cure you. but you may draw strength from them , whilst youâre on your way to recovery via maintaining a healthy lifestyle, seeking therapy etc. unfortunately nothing will âremoveâ the bad feelings that we have inside of us , itâs all down to time , dedication and bloody hard work. thereâs no quick fix ; itâs exhausting but worth it , i really would encourage you to try alternative means of self-help instead of relying on witchcraft. that being said , i am willing to give you info on little witchy things that might lift your spirits , or comfort you in times of need.
in terms of crystals , my personal favourite to wear when iâm feeling down is rose quartz - it works to expel negative energies , and pulls in loving energies. thereâs a lot of stigma around rose quartz being exclusively used to attract romantic love ( not really what youâre looking for when youâre down ) , but i donât believe this gem discriminates , it pulls in all sorts of loving , gentle , almost nurturing , energy - which may be just the little boost you need if youâre feeling particularly vulnerable. - peridot is particularly well known for alleviating guilt , as is fire opal ( a little harder to get ahold of ) - amethyst can be used to calm , soothe and promote self acceptance. - citrine absorbs negative energy, whilst bringing in positive energy. - sunstone is more gentle , and helps to lift bad moods ( also super pretty ) - carnelian can be used to reduce anxiety anxiety and provide motivation. crystals may be worn on necklaces, or kept close to where you sleep. in these places , theyâll be most effective. of course this isnât an exhaustive list , there are many many crystals that may benefit you , these are just some of my favourites. i hope this list gives you some inspiration, and motivation to do a little personal research. iâm by no means a crystal expert , nor do i know your situation , so I hope that this small, yet diverse selection gives you some insight into the wonderful healing properties of crystals ! in terms of spells or rituals , youâd need to DM me and be a little more specific in what your intentions are , so i can be completely confident in my suggestions. iâd really hate to give you a completely inappropriate suggestion , just because iâm vague on the details , that wouldnât be helpful , n you may actually achieve the adverse affects of what you set out to achieve in the first place. feel free to DM me anytime if you need anymore info !! ⨠stay strong , you can do this x
ok hi hi do any of my witchy followers find it difficult to commit to being one âsortâ of witch eg : kitchen , hedge , sea etc???? i feel predominantly drawn to being a sea witch , but it doesnât 100% sit right w me??? any input on this would be v appreciated !
Hello ! I was scrolling through your paganism posts/reblogs and wondered if you could tell me/ explain to me what the red string is? I have heard of it being a part of paganism before but never seen many posts of it? Something to do with fate or souls or something? I could be wrong, iâm extremely sorry if I am incorrect in any way, I hope i donât cause offence! Many thanks!
Hi ! First off, you mustâve scrolled a ton, because I donât think Iâve reblogged anything similar to what youâre describing in a long time :â) I think youâre talking about The Red Thread of Fate - a Chinese legend. It isnât specifically linked to Paganism per se, but itâs a cute myth that involves ancient deities, so I guess maybe pagans/witches or those drawn to the occult might find it interesting. In this myth, the Gods tie red strings between those who are destined to meet one another. In some versions of the legend, the string is tied to the ankle, in others, itâs the wrist or pinky finger. The âredâ thread is always invisible to human eye. Those who are connected by the thread are destined to be in each otherâs lives, no matter how far the thread tangles, stretches or knots. Itâll never break. The Red Thread of Fate is a story of the inevitable connection between âsoulmatesâ - this doesnât have to be romantic. The legend says that a thread is strung between any two people of which are destined to meet one another, for whatever reason - they can be friends, lovers, or just those whom are written by fate to play a vital yet fleeting part in each otherâs lives. In this myth, life is a scarlet tapestry. The Red Thread of Fate highlights the way in which all human life is interconnected, there are no accidents, only destiny. Iâm not 100% sure if this is what you were talking about, but feel free to check by me if Iâve gotten it right or wrong. I love getting asks, drop by if you need anymore witchy info :)
