#cracking bones

You know how some people go to chiropractors in order to relieve stress or pain from bones or also when we stay in a position far too long and then we stretch and our back or other joints crack?  Well imagine aliens reaction to it. Imagine the scene.

Laura and James are waiting for the end of their shift on the CS Proximo. They talk to each other to pass time. During their conversation Kheczain from the planet Theelea happen to pass by and listen to their conversation.

James: Oh i’m so tired of just sitting for hours!

Laura: I know right? My back is super stiff, listen to that! she stretches her back a bit and you can hear cracking noises

At that moment Kheczain is at the same time speechless and horrified by the sound made by her bones (! that he knows for a fact are essential to her health and the slight damage to them can paralyse humans for life).

James: Woah great sound! and then James starts to move his head from the far right to the far left and Kheczain hears one more time a cracking sound. 

Kheczain at that moment decides to intervene. He absolutely can not let these humans die. He’s sure these sounds are not normal. And surely they must have broken a few bones doing that.

Kheczain: James, Laura you have to come with me to the medical section right now!

James: Why? What happened? someone got injured?

Kheczain: Yes! you two! I heard your bones cracking! If we arrive on time there’s a chance we can fix it!

Laura: Noooo, we’re not injured! We just cracked our back to relieve stress, ‘cause we were a bit too stiff.

Kheczain: You did that in order to relieve stress??

James: Yeah you know, back on Earth there’s even a doctor, a chiropractor who we go to to readjust the spine when something isn’t right by making the bones crack.
