playing pretend; dress up

April glanced around the lair, trying to see if anybody was around. She didn’t know if what she was wearing would offend the boys or Splinter at all, but she had found it at an oriental shop and thought they might get a kick out of it.

She had found a pale yellow kimono, complete with a darker yellow belt and a matching fan to go with it. She had rolled her long dark hair up into a knot at the top of her head, no wanting to even attempt to try and do her hair how Japanese women did hundreds of years ago, and still continued to do even now.
