#crack week

Hi everyone,

We’re currently trying to gauge interest if anyone would be interested in a FFXV Crack Week. 

This week would be run similar to any other fandom week, with a list of prompts for each day and maybe some bonus stuff too. Any and all types of work will be allowed from fic, artwork, gifsets etc.

In case you’re unsure Wiktionary helpfully defines crack fic as:

“A work of fan fiction that is absurd, surprising or ridiculous, often intentionally.”

The exact date of this week will be decided at a later time.

This is my fic for crack!week. It got to be much longer than I was expecting, so I’m posting the whole thing on ao3.

“Supergirl!” Alex cried, rushing down the dark alleyway to her sister. “Were you hit?”

Kara grimaces, pulling her hand away from her sleeve. It was torn at the bicep. Damn. This material Winn found was stronger than most, but also a lot harder to repair. Whichever DEO agent was in charge of uniforms this week was gonna be so pissed at her.

Beneath the tear her skin was smooth, but that didn’t necessarily mean she hadn’t been hit. “I think so? I thought I felt a graze.”

“Shit, I’m on uniforms!” Kara winced apologetically. “I mean, I’m glad you’re not hurt?” Alex walked over to the heap of alien lying unconscious by the dumpster, a dagger type weapon with a glowing pink blade still clutched in her fist. “Pink? Seriously?” Alex picked it up with a gloved hand, bagging it for transfer to the base. She cuffed the prisoner for good measure before Kara heaved her up in a fireman’s hold and headed back to the van.

When they arrived back at headquarters Alex hurried off to her lab to exam her new toy while Kara was taken to her tanning bed just in case. She hated lying in there with nothing to do. She didn’t exactly do ‘sitting still’ very well.

“I feel fine, Suze!” she insisted, unleashing the full power of her baby blue puppy dog eyes on the unsuspecting agent. Alex once told her that look could be weaponized.

Vasquez stared her down, expression completely devoid of emotion.

“Alright, I didn’t wanna have to do this,” Kara warned seriously, “but you’ve left me with no choice.” Her lower lip slid out just slightly into a sad little pout.

Vasquez continued looking at her for a moment longer. She blinked once, and then, “My orders are to make sure you stay under that lamp until Agent Danvers has ascertained the chemical makeup of the weapon with which you were hit.”

Kara groaned, slamming her head back onto the bed. She felt it dent only a little, but she knew she would still be reprimanded for it later. She sighed at the thought.

Supercat (verb): when you think or do something because you are Supercat Trash.

I Supercat-ed: when you realize you fell into the trash pile and have no desire to leave.

I am Supercat-ing: when you look at an expensive fountain pen and blush.

I will Supercat: when you are currently single but looking for someone to indulge you with praise!kink, a collar, or both.

so me and @a-dot-burr-ell sat and picked out almost everyone’s pokemon team (along with some headcanons) last week and due to it being Supercat Crack week, i decided to add some supercatty things at the end, please read:

Characters & Their Teams:

Kara: Horsea, Ninetales, Cubone, Sylveon(eevee pre supergirl), Buizel, and Furret (named alex)

note; Kara’s Eevee was her first pokemon, she got it a few days after landing on Earth. It didn’t evolve into Sylveon until she ‘evolved’ into Supergirl. When Kara realized her true potential, so did her Eevee. Also, she has her Sylveon/Eevee out at all times. Her Furret can be alittle problematic so she calls it Alex.

Alex: Houndoom, Mightyena, Umbreon, Seviper, Warortle, and Butterfree (named zor-el for kara)

note;  Alex’s first pokemon was a tiny little injured Houndour that her and her dad found while camping when she was about 7. She nursed it back to health even though it growled and tried to bite her all the time. Also, when Kara first landed, Alex took her out into the woods to try and explain pokemon to her, but Kara stumbled upon a Caterpie and completely freaked out so Alex caught it to show Kara that it was okay and a year later, it evolved into a Butterfree and Kara thought it was the prettiest thing ever so Alex vowed to always have it by her side so she could remember the look on Kara’s face that day.

Cat: Dragonair, Liepard, Espeon, Serperior, Milotic, and Persian

note; Cat wants Mew more than anything and vows she will have it one day. She uses her Espeon’s psychic powers during interviews and her Liepard is always at her side, out of it’s ball.

Winn: Riolu, Raichu, Elekid, Rotom, Minun, and Helioptile

note; Winn’s dad gave him Riolu before he became crazy with revenge

Lucy: Arcanine, Lucario, Totodile, Ditto, Sneasel, and Rapidash

Carter: Eevee, Lapras, and Lillipup

note; He only gets three cause he's still little. Also carter and his eevee are like the littlest Eevee Brother. He never wants it to evolve. He gets self conscious about not evolving his eevee but then he meets Kara and her eevee (pre supergirl) and he feels better about it bc Kara explains that shes had her eevee since she was 13 and was proud of it even though it had yet to evolve and that Carter shouldn't be afraid of what others say about his Eevee because as long as he loves it and it loves him, power doesnt matter.

James: Monferno, Ivysaur, Machop, Poliwhirl, Munchlax, and Onix

Hank: Charmander

note; Hank is so anti-pokemon because "On Mars we didn't have those creatures and we didn't need them" but then he stumbles along a little hurt Charmander and brings it in and heals it up and he falls in love but he only ever wants his little Charmander and nothing else.  

Astra: Umbreon, Rattata, Banette, Sharpedo, Houndoom, and Krokoro

Siobhan: Meowth, Snivy, Glameow, Magikarp, Loudred, and Skuntank

note; Siobhan wants her Magikarp to evolve so bad but it just never does.

SUPERCAT HEADCANONS FOR THIS AU:

Cat and Kara were highschool & college bffs/roomates, they loved eachother but never acted on their feelings because Cat always put her career first and Kara wanted to focus more on her pokemon than anything else. Years later, Cat gets married for the second time (kara had been traveling the world and they kinda fell apart but not really) then has Carter and his dad leaves them. Kara comes back and her and Cat instantly reconnect and Kara helps raise Carter. Carter’s 10th birthday starts to get closer and the only thing he wants, other than Cat and Kara to offically get together, is a pokemon of his own. Kara gets the idea of getting him an Eevee just like hers and like the one Cat had (before it evolved), but Cat doesnt like the idea of just giving her son the first eevee they catch out in the wild so she proposes that her Espeon and Kara’s Eevee should spend some time at the daycare (with intensions of breeding the two) and Kara agrees and not long after, the two present Carter with his very own Eevee Egg. He cares for it and on the morning of his birthday, he wakes up to the sound of cracking. His egg finally hatches and he names his Eevee Krypto and then Supercat gets married and they live happyily ever after
