In boxing you have a standing 8 count,

in ring dings you have a 2 count,

in beer you have 6, 12, 24 and 30 counts,

when you’re frustrated you supposed to count to 10

and when you’re on camera you get a 5 count before going live.

With cigars we had singles, 5 counts, 20 counts and 25 counts with a rare dalliance into the 30, 40 and 50 count wheels.

However I have noticed there has been an abundance of cigars being packaged and sold in 10, 15 and 18 counts instead of the usual 5 packs and 20 count bundles and boxes. The price since January has increased $12.00 to $18.00 per bundle and boxes, its economics I get it, but to raise the price point and lower the count just pisses me right off.

I cannot be the only one to notice this marketing foolishness, why has no one else said anything? Ultimately I guess we have nothing to say about it, I just felt the need to vent about it. You may now go back to your regularly scheduled cigar. I thank you for your indulgence.

I will now count to 10 before I resume my activities of shopping for more cigars.
