Don't wash Party City wigs!
I tried doing a hot water wash on a black Party City wig to take out some curls it got in it, and after it dried, it reeked of rotting fish. I did not get food in it and there was no mold. We even shampooed it later because it stunk up every room it was in, and even after that it still stunk. I have not heard of this happeneing to anybody else, but word of advice, do not order their wigs if possible.
I wish my sewing machine hadn’t decided to die. I wish I had friends who lived closer that would lend me theirs. I wish I knew how to sew spandex and milliskin.
Question time
Im Caucasian, Would it be insulting or bad if I cosplayed a more tan non Caucasian character. It seems like a stupid question, but I am curious, there are so many amazing characters I like, but I've been scared and weary of who I'm allowed to cosplay. I don't wanna insult anyone or come off as whitewashing. That would be the last thing I would ever want to do to people
