Meet Corzo! A noble warrior Hollow Soldier of 1x.
Living in a village well within Telamon’s territory, worshipers of the God of the Heights, his home was attacked by 1x early into their rising, fought as he did along with his comrades, his villages was ultimately laid to waste, his village slaughtered, while the corpses were used as soldiers for 1x’s army.
Corzo was not so lucky as to jot them in death, for 1x had something else in mind, the strongest of his village……..and the first to fall to a fate worse then death. Corzo had his mind and will snatched in chains, 1x’s power seeping into him like a virus, warping his mind and putting him completely under 1x’s control.
Years he tried to fight, but it was to no avail………and for years…….It was a servant to it’s hatful master, soon it’s mindset began to change entirely, becoming Scully dependant of 1x’s orders to operate, becoming the perfect weapon, it could no long feel, nor did it bother to think why feel such things it’s master never ordered of it?
Even after the Sealment of 1x, ultimately freeing it from their control……the damage had already been done…….it was hollowed beyond recovery, while it’s body lived, and (barely) breathed…..it’s mind died long ago, and the man it used to be died with it.
Now of simply stands stationary in the wasteland of it’s master defeat, unmoving, without orders, many have tried to move it, but it only ever heeded it’s masters command, it’s nothing more then a scarecrow for a field now…..
Random facts:
- Corzo is an NPC in the survivors cabin, stationed in a corner upstairs, The Spectre was going to make it a Killer but gave up beaches it refused to obey it’s orders, even when it mimicked 1x’s voice.
- If you were to ask Corzo why (if it’d ever respond) it’d stare it’s because it’d recognise it’s master presence, having it engrained into it’s very brain, and can tell it apart from a fake
- Many of the survivors believe Corzo’s just a robot or construct of sorts, Shedletsky knows who Corzo is but doesn’t know his origin, though Dusekkar senses something off about it.
- Shedletsky saw Corzo on the battlefield during his final battle with 1x, he just assumes their another one of 1x’s zombies.
- Shedletsky once let his ‘Inner Telamon’ out while he was messing around with Corzo, jokingly demanding it make him a sandwich, and shockingly it did, confusing and horrifying Shedletsky.
- The reason for this is because Corzo can’t tell the difference between Telamon and 1x, due to their mannerisms, presence and commanding voices being so similar
