11 - bright colours or pastels?

Ugh, neither. Pastels at a push, so long as it’s blue or green. Definitely not pink, though, despite this:

16 - summer or winter?

Again, neither. British winters these days tend to be much colder than 30 years ago and that plays havoc with both my shitty knee and my asthma. And British summers tend to be much hotter than 30 years ago and that plays havoc with my asthma. Give me a nice temperate Spring and I’ll be happy!

23 - dark or brightly coloured clothes?

Dark. I mean, I don’t wear black all the time. But I mostly wear shades of blue and towards the middle and end of the blue spectrum. Not as dark as navy but not sky blue, either, as a rule. I’ve occasionally been known to wear grey or mid-green, but it’s usually blue.

This deck is absolutely gorgeous. I love the combination of dark imagery with a sort of silly twist. It just works so well! I also love the coating of the cards but they are a little big for me to shuffle comfortably (and I have fairly large hands to begin with).

4. What flower would you like to be given?

Well, I’m not a big flower person but my favourite is the humble daffodil. It was my Mum’s favourite flower. This year is the tenth anniversary of her death and the daffodil just reminds me of her a lot. So, I guess daffodil is the best answer to this question.

5. Who do you feel most you around?

Probably @lord-of-killer-indecencies as she’s the one who I feel most free and able to share my thoughts/opinions/gay fangirling with (although I guess this only counts if you don’t have to be physically around the person/people, damn different continents!). I’m pretty much myself around my immediate family members although I don’t do much if any of the gay fangirling around them, lol!! I tend to be pretty reserved around most people as I worry about saying the wrong thing/crossing lines/having people not understand my sense of humour etc.

3. Do you like mushrooms?

Yes. I love mushrooms. One of my favourite vegetables. Especially with garlic.

5. A childhood nickname?

I don’t really remember any other than just variations of my name. I suppose the one I remember most vividly is my mum calling me Vicky-Lou. My brother and sister in law now call me Ickle Vickle (for, what I think are, quite amusing reasons) but that one isn’t childhood.

6. The height you wish you were?

10 - Name a song that makes you happy.

Well, Bohemian Rhapsody immediately springs to mind. Ditto We Will Rock You. Both by Queen. NGL, I like to listen to the latter and stomp along! :D

12 - If you were famous for something, what would that thing be? Realistically speaking.

I haven’t a clue why I’d be famous for anything, unless it was for being an annoying Fannish Relic. 

17 - Romantic dinner or chill movie night?

Well, realistically speaking, I’d enjoy a chill movie night more, in all likelihood. Although, given that if I watch TV past 6pm, I have hyper-realistic nightmarish dreams, it ought to be a romantic dinner or a chill movie afternoon.
