Trump hired some high profile military people early in his administration. He may have thought that having them around would make him appear strong. In fact, he fired them all and ended up looking weaker than he did in the first place. And as he replaced them with flunkies and sycophants he stepped up the rate at which he violated his oath of office.
Now many men and women in uniform are honoring their oath to the US Constitution by testifying about Trump’s corruption.
So we should mark this Veterans Day with a big Thank You to people who put service to the democratic ideals of the US above career advancement.
