I understand why people ship Owen and Andy now because in the series they never really interact. I just assumed fandom culture was going crazy.

Something I love about the Big Finish audios with Owen and Andy is how they take crimes that do happen in the real world - which is Andy's territory - and give them a Torchwood twist - which is Owen's - and combine them so the real villain is the human capacity for evil amplified by the Rift.
It gives both characters chance to show off their expertise and contrasting worldviews, and only by working together can they see the whole picture.
people in cardiff just see a weevil and go 'hey is anyone gonna form a cult based around this and make a bunch of people mentally unstable as a result?' and then dont wait for an answer
Listening to my first ever Torchwood audio book, (Corpse day) and they just played Owen’s theme and I’m fucking sobbing.
I missed this asshole so much.
