Racked and tested the ABV of my meads and had a little taste as well. Can't quite explain the taste of the cherry/chilli mead, not quite as spicy as I was expecting it to be either. The plain mead looks, smells and tastes like white wine pretty much. Mead update: The 2 demijons with the yellow plastic on the bottom, have been brewing since the 22nd/23rd of April and still seem to bubbling along which I'm assuming means they're still fermenting 🤷‍♂️. The other one has been brewing since the 14th of May so probably has a little while to go just yet. If they taste like they smell I think we're on to a winner here.
