phil likes to bring her leftover backed goods from the cafe whenever he works a night shift. he also almost always brings a different experimental drink as well. it’s always the last thing he does at the end of any shift, he makes a wild new coffee combo and then takes it to either lil or pen for opinions, depending on whether he goes straight to his place or penelope’s. she’s usually not a fan of any of them, but she still tries it every time - always on instalive as a reaction video.

he’s yet to fully tell his parents about her. or well, that’s not fully true - they definitely know about her because of ya know the whole viral sex tape thing, but he’s never given more of an explanation that just “that’s penelope” he’s pretty sure they assume he’s dating her - or at least they hope he’s dating her and not going around making sex tapes with random girls (which.... she kind of was when they did it). but really they’re too busy constantly yelling at him for the whole thing or actively avoiding ANY mention of the sex tape to ever bring it up or ask any straight forward questions about her. he does want to tell them about her - but he’s not going to do that until he himself is absolutely certain in where they stand.

after having dated amity for a bit, being with pen is..... a lot different. amity had been phil’s first real relationship (because no one in high school wanted to date the bug boy and corona gave him a fresh start). with amity, phil always knew exactly where he stood. they were dating, she hated his bug eating and other weird tendencies, and well - their breakup made sense when it happened. with penelope, nothing fully makes sense to him and he doesn’t really know anything that’s happening. but it’s exciting in a way nothing else has really ever been. she doesn’t fully mind his weirdness and has fully embraced the fact that he was a college drop out with no real future plans and she supposed his goals of being lazy forever yet still rich and forever. things are confusing but good and though he wished he knew where they stood, he wouldn’t really trade it in for anything.

dipper and cor met when she first came to the island. she was friends with mabel first and that’s how they got to know each other (much like most of all his friends in general). at the time he was still dating missy, so it wasn’t like an instant crush or anything on his end. he thought she was cool and liked her, that’s for certain, but didn’t really think anything further. it wasn’t until a few months later, after he and missy had broken up, that he started to realize he may have some kind of feelings for her. at first he tried to ignore them, thinking she was way out of his league and would never like him back, but after hanging out so much he started to think maybe there actually was a chance she could like him back and BOOM that’s how we came to longwinded journey these two idiots have been on together nskgjs

in the beginning of their relationship dipper didnt ever vocalize it, but he was almost always afraid she was going to break up with him any day. not because things were going bad. but he was just insecure and she’s just so much cooler than him and he was just waiting for her to realize that. after having been together for almost a year now though, he’s gotten better. the majority of his worries and doubts have gone away. he feels comfortable with her and in their relationship in a way he never has before. he loves her and knows that she loves him too now. things aren’t completely perfect, but they’re for certain good enough for him. he’s more than content and happy with where they are.

though neither of them have shared their full stories with each other, they both know enough about the other’s past to deduce that things weren’t always great. emily has yet to fully explain the situation with barkis and poppy has only brought up creek in passing on drunken girl’s nights out. but it’s enough. neither of them ever push the other, both understanding that things like this aren’t easy to talk about it. but it’s always known that they’ll be there for each other, no matter what.

poppy was the one that invited emily to replace carol in butterfly effect. she and barb had been performing by themselves and though it was fun and the audiences still enjoyed their shows, it was obvious something was missing. so after finding out that emily was a lounge singer and could also play piano she made the suggestion that she join the band. it was only after their like second practice that poppy suggested they all get matching tattoos to represent the band. it was a whim, but both of the other girls went along with it and now it’s one of her favorite tattoos she has.

emily is one of the few people that poppy would trust to watch lily rose - but she doesn’t ask her to do it often. because she knows how hectic it probably is watching after her own daughter, she never wants to make things more stressful for her. she’s also already told helena once she’s old enough she’s got two for sure jobs in her future: babysitting and working in the craft store. while there are still quite a few years away before either of those happen, every time poppy mentions it helena gets so excited thinking about how rich she’s going to be working two whole jobs. of course both poppy and emily know that she won’t be working enough hours to make any type of actual fortune - but they let her think the twenty or forty bucks a week she’ll probably end up making is going to be amazing.

Dipper snorts and shakes his head, glancing over at her as if he doesn’t believe a word she’s saying. Because well, frankly, he doesn’t. “Yeah you did a real good job showing that. Bullying and teasing everyone was such a great way to be like everybody else.” In a way it makes sense that Pacifica might have felt that way growing up - but he’s not about to let her slide from all the shitty things she’d done in the past. @paznwduh

Phil freezes for a moment, not daring to look at her in case she takes it back or calls him an idiot for thinking she could possibly mean it in that way. But why else would Penelope say something like that if she wasn’t implying that either she was in love with him or that she thought he was in love with her. Was he in love with her? Fuck if Phil knew. He wasn’t even sure if they were officially dating or not - yet alone where his feelings actually stood. He liked her. A lot. That was for certain. But who the fuck was he to know what love felt like? After a long moment of not reacting he simply nods his head. “Yeah... they probably do...” @princesspenpen

With a dramatic gasp, Flynn drops down to his knees and places his arm across his forehead as he turns away. “Oh, Shego,” he breathes out in a high pitched voice. “Are you the knight in shining armor I’ve been waiting my whole life to come and save me?” Crawling forward he drops his arm to grab a hold of her hand instead. “Rescue me from this awful hellscape. Take me away where we can be together and live happily ever after.” @shcgogo

“So, does this mean you forgive me?” Shane asks, hopeful. It only took him four months to apologize and then another month for Fiona to actually talk to him so this was definitely a step in the right direction. “I mean, yeah. Taco Bell. Sounds great. My treat.” It was the least he could do after he’d been such a shitty friend.

for a quick second flynn’s lips twist into a frown before his easy going smile replaces it. “pshh,” he scoffs, reaching out to bump his arm into louise’s. not too hard though, knowing full well she likely has that butterfly knife of hers still somewhere on her person. “the fact that you can’t steal - that’s what’s actually funny. don’t be mad because you can’t reach my level.” @babybelch
