7 Day Core Strength Challenge Day 7: Pelvic Floor & Diaphragm
During day 7 we'll look at activating the pelvic floor and diaphragm muscles. These muscles are often forgotten about when we think of the core, but they both play an important role in making up the core muscles.
Why strengthen the core?
- The core stabilises and supports your body, protects your spine and helps reduce lower back pain - A strong core can help improve balance and prevent falls - Core strength can help mobility
Who this challenge is for? Everyone! Beginners welcome.
The challenge is just 5 - 10 minutes a day for 7 days, so easy to fit into your daily routine.
7 Day Core Strength Challenge Day 6: Hip Flexors
During day 6 we'll work to strengthen and stretch some of the different hip flexors.
Why strengthen the core? - The core stabilises and supports your body, protects your spine and helps reduce lower back pain - A strong core can help improve balance and prevent falls - Core strength can help mobility Who this challenge is for? Everyone! Beginners welcome. The challenge is just 5 - 10 minutes a day for 7 days, so easy to fit into your daily routine. Alright, friends. Accountability post. Today I started the core challenge. I’ve started working out again and again, but I keep letting myself get discouraged. I found an old kindle of mine and found pictures of myself in there from when I was 19. Oof. Just the kick in the pants I needed. I’ll never be that tiny again, and I don’t want to be. But losing 20lbs by the end of summer doesn’t seem unrealistic to me. I can do it. I’m keeping a workout journal and a chart on it of my daily workouts. I am allowing myself a rest day. I’m doing the Emily Skye core challenge that started today, and so far, one day down, not looking forward to the rest. I talked my sister into doing it with me because she says she’s bored, so hopefully that will keep me accountable. I can’t wait to do my measurements side by side in 30 days ❤️❤️❤️
