as of right now, all any other clans outside of ShadowClan know/believe/assume that Copperleaf left for ShadowClan either because he a) was already mates with Dawncloud and had halfclan kits, or b) to become mates with Dawncloud and have kits with her. the other clans all assume Blossomtail, Oakfur, Swampfur, and Applefur are all biologically his!

What was their reaction to that? Does Blossom tease them about it because they have -tail as a suffix instead? (Aside from Apple, who chose fur for unknown reasons instead of something cool like shade or scratch or crunch)

haha but yeah! Applefur's name was actually chosen by Brokenstar who was literally just lazy and did not care, and Oakfur and Swampfur were named so because Nightstar was so much lazy but kind of "under pressure" and unable to come up with Fancy, Meaningful names. Blossomtail is in the same boat, he just happened to get a different suffix. maybe he's tail's a little longer than his siblings idk

(the out-of-canon reason is that Applefur and Oakfur are canon warriors and i was gonna jokingly named Swampkit and Blossomkit Swampfur and Blossomfur... but i really liked Blossomtail and figured it was more different from Blossomfall while still being basic. ironically i think Blossomtail looks more like Blossomfall than Blossomfur. whoops. also Blossom is becoming less of a word the more i type it and im going insane)

Swampfur never used to care but now she gets pissed off when he mentions it
