Target Audience: Adult (however, the rating would be PG as there's only a little swearing and violence, it's just potentially less relatable for younger audiences as the main character is fifty-six and the youngest character is forty-three)

Progress: As of April 6, 2026, I've edited the first three chapters of the third draft! If all goes to plan I will finish v3 this year, complete a second edit (v4) before the end of the year, and start the beta reading process! (ambitious, but possible ;) )

TQF2 is very very slowly being pre-outlined haha. I dump all my ideas into a doc, then proceed with an outline later once I have enough “puzzle pieces”. I will give you this much about it: Zharan and Telon will be making appearances in this. I am also planning (subject to change) to include 2-3 POVs, one of course being Runnicka.

Copper Frames (recently revealed in a now buried post on my blog as renamed to Runaway Psychic) may or may not make it to AO3. My hope is to get agent representation for this manuscript, and if that’s the case it’ll instead be in print if I’m lucky! If it doesn’t receive rep, I’ll have to decide whether I want to post on AO3 or shelve it for possible later publication (this sometimes happens where books are picked up much later even though they’re not the one you’re querying). Medicine-adjustment pending, if I’m feeling better soon and get back on track with edits to v3 and then after v4, I’m ambitiously shootinf for September to begin Runaway Psychic beta reads!

I should mention I finally have a new title for the story, since Copper Frames was the placeholder. I’ll be sharing it more and more as I approach the beta reading phase. I’m instead calling it Runaway Psychic.

I won’t go back and fix all the tags of every post about it but I’ll keep tagging it with #copper frames, plus I’ll add the new title to future posts, until I hit the query stage where I’ll stop tagging with the old name. (Queued posts will only have the old tag.)

When v3 is done I will need to do one more edit which shouldn’t be as intense as this one, and if all goes smoothly, I’ll be conducting the beta read by the end of the summer B-)

How would you describe their personality/aesthetic? Personality: Alina enjoys socializing. She’s the leader the other werewolves look to for guidance when there’s a problem. She hates to see people suffer. Aesthetic: an archer draws back their bow, focuses on the target, their breathing, the wind—and releases.

What's your favourite thing about them? She knows how to handle a crisis and acts quickly.

Fun facts about them/their creation? Alina didn’t exist in the first version of Copper Frames where Amelia was the protagonist. I made her for the new version where Svitlana is the protag. Alina was originally supposed to be a co-leader with Viktoria but since writing the story out more it became clear to me that Viktoria looks to her for guidance like the others.

“Son of a bitch!” she said, food spraying, clutching at her burn, regretting clutching at it, dropping the bag of nuts in favour of searching for some burn cream. Someone turned down the alley she was in and she turned away, hiding her face in the shadows as they went past. She applied the cream, then cursed again as she realized the almonds had spilled all over the alley. This escape plan was not off to a great start. Svitlana remembered a storybook from her childhood of a princess escaping the dull life of royalty in favour of adventure, how the princess made similar clumsy mistakes, not knowing life outside nobility. In the story, the princess had left behind a trail of sunflower seeds after accidentally tearing a hole in it. Not wanting to leave a trace, she convinced woodland creatures, various birds and rodents and deer, to clean up the trail all the way back to the kingdom.
