You know everytime someone uses a TCEST DNI (follwed by the most immature sentences usually) as a tag on anything, you realizes it's showing how childlike and stupid you're being right? Because that's not going to stop anyone, and no you don't have to like tcest, but you don't have to be a bullying asshole about it, about other people's fictional tastes and writing choices. All it's doing is alienating you from other people, and making people want to avoid you in the tmnt fandom. This is fiction about mutant turtles that have fucking killed people, there are going to be tons of crap that are going to make you uncomfortable and your not going to like in this fanom, because tmnt didn't start off for kids, it started as a dark comic for adults. Yes now it has parts of the fandom that is for kids. But the overall success of tmnt its because of adult fans and the adult fanbase is why we get so much successful tmnt media. It's always been like this, and tcest is only a tiny part of the fandom that was fucking minding its own business till dumb kids and purity culture people decided to blast everything they don't like on loud speaker and be children. Because that's what you're acting like everytime you use that tag. You are acting like an immature child in a fandom space that is for everyone. Honestly everytime I see that tag I'm thinking about oh here is another immature child that wants to be a bully and just not stay in their own subsection of the fandom. No they had to willingly choose to be a jerk today.
