This username may or may not be familiar to you...it’s the word “cool” forward (obviously) and the name April backwards. That’s because it’s the name of the first seamstress/fashion designer I wanted to talk about this week. I found April’s channel unexpectedly while watching a variety of DIY videos on YouTube one day. She currently has over one million subscribers and has a very well-received series called “Thrifted Transformations”, which is the first thing I saw of hers. I was so impressed by her creativity and sewing skills that I watched quite a lot of her videos the day I found her channel so I honestly don’t remember the first video I saw of her.
However, I do remember one of the videos that made me what to subscribe to her channel and see more from her. It was the 18th episode of “Thrifted Transformations” where she made a backpack out of 2 skirts and a jacket. It’s pretty awesome (in my opinion). Check it out below:
In October 2016, April appeared on the talk show “The Real” as a part of a segment called “Thrifty Threads Transformation”.
April has accumulated millions and millions of views on her “Thrifted Transformations” over the years and she definitely deserves it.Â
Here are some other amazing pieces that she’s created on “Thrifted Transformations”:
Wishing her nothing but success! :)
