Which is confusing, because John Innes isn't a brand, but his name is on lots of compost, and unless you look into it you don't really know why, it's just some kind of mysterious gardening code for 'good compost of some kind'.
Anyway, if you've ever stared at a wall of compost and wondered how they are all different, bewildered as to which one you should get, and why they almost all say 'John Innes' on them, this song is fo you!
