“Remember, all ten problems by Friday! I know you can count up to ten so there’d better be not one missing or I’ll chill your seat!” His playful threat followed the kids as they laughed out of his classroom and he sighed; powers were back and same as ever so it seemed to have put most everyone in a better mood. Bobby hadn’t felt right at all so having his powers back and no more need to wear three jumpers cause he was cold had him all but skipping down the halls.

His mood only shot up further when he spotted a familiar face that hadn’t been around in a while outside the school. “Kitty!” he cried, jogging over, grabbing the other by the waist and spinning her around, “I didn’t know you were coming here!” he set her down and all but jumped up and down in front of her, “How’ve ya been? Did you miss me? You missed me more than Scott right?”

I got faith in my boys... Things might be real shaky at the start, but that’s because they still don’t know how to play as a team and they’re all in that ‘me’ mentality. It’s just something you got to break in them. They all think they can be the next... well.. me. But even I knew I was nothing without my team.

After his talk with Ororo, Josh went back to his room and showered, it took longer than he would have liked and he’d felt rather grim washing crusty blood off himself and seeing the water turn pink, but after a good hour he was clean and freshly dressed in jeans, a long-sleeved top and a beanie over his white hair. He’d looked at his map of the school and found where Kitty, Ms Pride, lived and figured he owed her an apology given his new mindset towards things.

So he’d rather nervously headed over and those same nerves stayed with him as he knocked on her door, taking a small breath while he waited for an answer. “Ms Pride? Do you have a moment?”

I thought you would’ve quit that bad habit by now….

It makes you useful for something other than listening to what everyone in the house is thinking. Anyway, what do you say to listening in on someone else’s thoughts? It’s important.

The fact that you can ask for my help and insult me is quite impressive. As for listening to someone's thoughts. That's an invasion of their privacy, Kitty.
