Carrying a semi-large package up the stairs, Zazie soon made it to his intended floor. He looked at the address on the package, then to the apartment numbers in the hallway. Yes, he was almost finished with this delivery--the sooner he’d get it done, the sooner he could take Vashuka to the gardens and relax for a while.
Once finding the correct apartment, he knocked on the door and waited for a response. He hoped the receiver of the package was here, otherwise he’d need to go up front and deliver it there, which was seriously a hassle. After waiting a moment with no answer, the cat-eyed boy knocked impatiently once again.
Eventually, the door opened and Zazie immediately began speaking, “Delivery for Riku, sign here and--”
Hold up, hold up. This guy had ears which resembled a fox, along with a bushy tail to go with it. What the hell?! Zazie’s flat expression shifted into shock, his eyes fixed on the fox-like tail. Was this some kind of joke? A really bad prank, or did this guy have some sort of weird hobby?
Ah, but that outfit looked kind of cute--
Shaking his head vigorously, Zazie attempted to clear those thoughts from his mind. His face was still red from blush, however.
“Hey, what’s up with the getup? Nevermind, hurry up and sign this so I can get out of your hair.” The weird things people do wasn’t any of his business.
