Anyway, the day after I sent in that last ask I had a injury at work - seven+ wooden beams fell on me (the kind that takes two full-grown men to safely lift) and I had a limp for the next few days (still got some bruising, but nothing major). But like, those dwarves seeing that? They'd freak right? "Small human is hurt! Must protect! Oh, she says she's fine? Protect anyway! Must keep safe!"

Dude one of the dwarves would CARRY you to the medics whether you wanted to go or not. Everyone would follow. You’d be forced to stay for longer than necessary, given yummy food and books to read and being waited on and visited and babied until you screamed! But they’d take such good care of you! And after that? NO MORE WORKING NO. Okay maybe but only with two of them spotting you at all times.
