And at least 15 didn't not make my final 20: 16 male/female releases & 4 women's exclusive releases... And I couldn't even rank them in order, except for the TOP 5 (with a tie at no. 5) in the male/female releases and a NO. 1 in the women's exclusives.... The Air Jordan XIII Retro Flint Grey WHY I LIKE THEM?: Affectionately and popularly known as the #Flint13s, this classic silhouette is back with a NAVY BLUE 3M UPPER with white leather on the toebox and tongue of the shoe. CONQUEST'S SNEAKER OF THE WEEK: Nike SB Dunk Low × Ben & Jerry's Chunky Dunky We sneakerheads and sneaker enthusiasts love collaborations, especially when it's as fun as a @nike & @benandjerrys' collab.... With that said, we also HATE these collaborations for one SOLE reason (see what I did there?), they are often EXTREMELY LIMITED aka HARD TO GET.... And very few sneakers fit that profile more frustratingly than THE NIKE SB DUNK LOW × BEN & JERRY'S CHUNKY DUNKY WHY I LIKE IT?: This sneaker is INCREDIBLE, and it will easily go down as one of the best releases of the year for sure. The colorway on the upper is a complete reimagination of the BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM CONTAINER reworked to fit the SB DUNK silhouette, right down to the font used on the NIKE branding. It also comes with extra laces to go with the thick white ones already in the shoe, as well as a multi-shade of green colored outsole. WOULD I BUY IT?: Of course I would, but the "L" in actually trying to get these feels imminent to great extent, but we'll see. Introducing my SECOND "L" in a series of related posts, more on that later Just when I thought I'd see nothing doper than the REVERSE DUCK CAMO on a AIR MAX 90, along comes this.... Introducing : The Nike Air Max 90 Green Camo WHY I LIKE IT: The colorblocking on this is perfectly executed. It comes with white laces, neon or lime green coloring, black NIKE swooshes with camouflage overlays all over the upper, a white and black midsole with a green air unit and a green a black outsole to match. WOULD I BUY IT?: Again....I tried, but the 'BOTS weren't having it and the sneakers sold out within a minute. AGAIN....RIDICULOUS. We lost 4 major architects in music and pop culture.... @andreharrell, #LittleRichard, @therealbettywright and @djamandablaze There's so much you can say about these four geniuses.... Andre Harrell discovered arguably one of hip hop's greatest moguls, producers and personalities in @diddy. Plus, he pretty much reshaped my childhood and teenage years with his assistance in introducing of 90's new jack swing with iconic artists such as JODECI, HEAVY D N THE BOYZ and MARY J. BLIGE.... and that doesn't even cover the half of it Little Richard was pretty much the grand architect of ROCK & ROLL music. Jimi Hendrix played for him, the Beatles "copied" him and The Rolling Stones "worshipped" him Betty Wright, was a legendary vocal powerhouse in both R&B and gospel who even up til recently did records with KANYE WEST & @djkhaled And DJ AMANDA BLAZE....The youngest of the four, dying at age 41, was a phenomenal turntable savant who put together countless mixes, did countless shows and was a fixture of @siriusxm I state all of this because... I wonder sometimes, before people are no longer with us, do we do what we can to "GIVE PEOPLE THEIR ROSES so that they can SMELL THEM" while they are ALIVE Maybe we need to do that more, starting with me.... CONQUEST'S SNEAKER OF THE WEEK: The Air Jordan 6 Retro High DMP I'm back with another one..... And today marked the debut of a sneaker that's been pushed back more times than Stephen A. Smith's hairline (No dis...he'd tell you and joke about that himself), which probably built up the anticipation for it even more.... And that sneaker is the AIR JORDAN 6 RETRO HIGH DMP WHY I LIKE IT?: Back in 2006, Jordan Brand released the DMP: Defining Moments Pack that featured black, white and gold accented versions of the Air Jordan 6: The first shoe Michael Jordan won a championship in, and the Air Jordan 11: The first shoe he won a championship in after returning from retirement. This time around the Jordan 6 DMP returns by itself, and one would guess that the Jordan 11 DMP will eventually do the same in the not so distant future. In terms of design, the DMP 6 very much mirrors the Infrared 6's, except that there is no 3M, all of the Infrared accents on the original OG are now GOLD instead, "NIKE AIR" on the back heel is swapped out for the Jumpman logo and 2020 on the back heel and it even comes with a gold dog tag with MJ's career acheivement embossed on it.... All and all, it's a really really dope sneaker and absolutely worth the 14 year wait for its retro WOULD I BUY THEM?: The wife got her VERY FIRST W on the SNKRS app today when she. got them before they sold out within minutes on the site, and I got them at @kith Will we keep them?
