You're foolish to think Gaston would ever like you. You're nothing in comparison to Belle.
"Maybe, maybe not. Either way— There are still people out there who value me, so there must be something worthwhile about me, non?” This still hurts her, though.
Gaston, I bought myself a French-English dictionary, which isn't much of a present but I'm sure you'll appreciate it. Merry Christmas, I'll be around as soon as these bottles are finished. Maybe I'll even share! Al

Papa Gaston Doin' What He Do Best || Jane P. & Gaston
The Cunning dorms were a blur as Jane hurried out of Kovu's room, trying to see through her blurred vision to find the stairwell. She was positive she'd already passed it, but she didn't want to slow down or stop to check. She just wanted to get out. She needed to get out-- he doesn't love you. He loves Jane. That got her to stop in her steps. She stood in the middle of the hallway, trying to wipe away the tears that were falling more and more quickly, trying to gather her wits, trying to stop herself from hearing those words in her head again and again and again. "Pull yourself together," she mumbles to herself. The last thing she needed was for Kovu to find her out here...
"Gaston Lefevre." Belle's voice was stern as she tried to hold a stoic expression and rapped on the door in front of her. It was supposed to be his, that was what the office said when she asked where he dormed. With no answer, she knocked a bit harder. "Gaston, I know you're in there. Open the door."
It's in the Books || Bellston Drabble
Belle's fingers slipped on the worn page. Every book she's read since she and Gaston had kissed has had to be reshelved. Reshelved once she read the first kiss of the novel. The description fitting how she felt after to a T. But still she kept searching, trying to find the one book that would prove her wrong. There was nothing. All signs pointed to the ghost of a feeling for the boy she had despised her whole life, the boy whom had tried so hard in all the wrong ways and all it took was some kind words, a sense of feeling and she was hooked, just like all the others. As far as she was concerned, she was ridiculous. As far as she was concerned, this would not end well. As far as she was concerned...
She breathed slowly as she closed her eyes, letting her mind drift back to where it has been the past few days. The kiss. The right kiss was supposed to be life changing, but not like this... right? Right... The tips of her fingers trailed her lips as she remembered how his felt on hers. She wanted another. It was like she was addicted, but it was all so wrong. So very wrong. So Belle had pushed it aside, but now... People were asking about it. Asking her how she felt. Accusing her of leading him on. Did she like Gaston? Not the facade, but that glimpse... The peek at what was under. She was finding she liked that very much and wanted to do anything to see it again.
What is wrong with me?
It went against all she knew. Every little thing. And as the thoughts floated along and everyone nipped and picked at her, prodding her feelings for a pulse... Belle realized something. She wanted to try more with Gaston, draw out whom she was attached to, teach him how to be all parts of himself, take him as her own as he brought her to her own.
The idea terrified her. Her walls would be up, but she wanted to knock his down. But how? What should she do? What should she say? Did it matter anyway?
She thought the feeling would just fade, but it's been days. Now she has to do something about it.
But where does she begin?
